Title: Another Faust
Authors: Daniel & Dina Nayeri
Summary: Five children are taken from their homes and given everything they desire, but at what cost?
I picked this book up because whenever I see “Faust” I think of Marlowe’s The Tragical History of Doctor Faustus; I was right that this book was quite like a more modern retelling with more than one victim in the story.
This book was an interesting read and once it picked up in pace and the children got deeper into their deals with Madame Vileroy, it became hard for me to want to put this book down.
The ending was anticlimactic. It felt like a cross between a happily-ever-after and a slap in the face to the reader
