50BC #5 – Blue Bloods by Melissa de la Cruz

Title: Blue Bloods
Author: Melissa de la Cruz
Series: Blue Bloods
Published: 2006
Summary: Schuyler Van Alen is a misfit until she finds herself chosen to join The Committee and learns more of her lineage and what she truly is.

Yes, I read yet another vampire novel. I found this one interesting because of the term “blue bloods” and “red bloods” and “silver bloods”. I like the idea that vampires have a different type/colour of blood running through their veins, even though I don’t understand how it runs through them at all.

I haven’t decided if I’ll continue with this series right away, but I know that I want to continue with it and find out what happens to the lovely half-vampire abomination. I really want her mother to wake up from her coma.
